Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we work with athletes from elementary school to professional leagues. Due to repetitive injuries sustained through years of training and competition, their overall performance can diminish over time. It is for these reasons that many athletes come to consult us. Our treatments help them benefit from better mental and neuromuscular control and improve their performance. Many athletes seek our care because of a concussion, repetitive joint/muscular injury or because they are looking for a competitive edge.
In addition to the admission documents that you will bring to your first appointment (or in advance in cases of functional neurology), it is important to bring all relevant tests and reports that you may have received in the past. This may include MRI or CT scans, as well as any blood tests related to your current condition.
Once the program is complete, we will answer any questions you may have and discuss the patient's progress. Any additional treatment required at home and/or in the clinic will be discussed. We generally give patients home exercises to continue their progress and suggest prevention visits afterwards.
We ask for 24 hours notice when you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
for chiropractic treatment. A $25 fee will be charged when this deadline is not met.
This is intended as a deterrent and should be enforced due to past abuse. When you cancel your appointment at the last minute or do not show up, you are penalizing someone who could have benefited from this lost treatment time.
We will be understanding in exceptional circumstances, such as during a snowstorm or in certain emergency situations. We thank you for your understanding and your collaboration in the smooth running of the clinic.
